En. Mohamad Hafiz Bin Bahrum (Assistant Operations Manager)
Encik Hafiz is the Assistant Operations Manager of Pheim Unit Trusts Berhad. Prior joining to PUTB, he has more than 13 years of experience, specialised in client services and transfer agency businesses.
Encik Hafiz began his career as a clerk to do day-to-day process for unit trust investment at CIMB Bank Bhd. Subsequently, En. Hafiz has gained recognition in his company and has been promoted to be the Manager at UOB Asset Management (M) Berhad.
Throughout the years, he was actively involved and contributed to multiple operational re-engineering projects ranging from new system implementation, process migration and process automation. From his previous employment, he has also some upper hand knowledge on client and agency support services in view of building a stronger reputational platform.
Mr. Melvin Loong (Compliance Officer)
Mr. Melvin Loong is the Compliance Officer and is responsible for overseeing all compliance and risk management matters in Pheim Asset Management Sdn Bhd (PAMSB) and its wholly-owned subsidiary company – Pheim Unit Trusts Berhad (PUTB).
Prior to joining Pheim in Feb 2018, Melvin started his career in a commodity option firm and gained his compliance related experience. Melvin has been the main point of contact for Securities Commission, FIMM and other Regulators/Authorities. He works independently and reports to the Board of Directors on the oversight function of all risk management and compliance matters. Throughout the years, he has been actively involved in the advisory role, supporting the Management to promote a good compliance culture within Pheim entities.
Melvin holds a Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from University Tunku Abdul Rahman.
